Terms & Services
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These Terms & Services (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at cyclejournals.com (the “Site”) and related informational services offered by Cycle Journals (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site, submitting a form, or subscribing to communications, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Nature of Our Services
Cycle Journals operates as an independent insurance advisory and marketing platform. We provide education, comparisons, and facilitation of insurance products underwritten by third-party carriers (“Insurers”). We are not an Insurer unless explicitly stated on a specific policy document. Insurance contracts are formed only between you and the applicable Insurer when an application is approved and premium is accepted according to that Insurer's rules.
Content on the Site—including articles, pricing illustrations, project summaries, and testimonials—is for general information. It is not legal, tax, or personalized insurance advice until you receive a written recommendation from a licensed advisor following a needs analysis.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use quote forms or request advisory services. You agree to provide accurate, complete information on all forms. Misrepresentation may void coverage if discovered by an Insurer and may result in termination of our ability to serve you.
If we provide portal credentials in the future, you are responsible for safeguarding login details and notifying us promptly of unauthorized access.
3. No Guarantee of Coverage or Rates
Quotes displayed on the Site or communicated by email are estimates subject to underwriting, medical evaluation, property inspection, motor vehicle records, and other risk assessment. Premiums, deductibles, limits, and availability may change without notice until a policy is bound. We do not guarantee that any Insurer will offer coverage or renew a policy.
4. Licensing and Compensation
Our advisors hold applicable licenses for the lines of business they discuss with you. We may receive commissions or other compensation from Insurers when policies are placed. This compensation does not increase your premium; Insurer filings determine rates. Upon request, we will explain how we are compensated for a specific recommendation.
5. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful purposes or to transmit harmful code;
- Scrape, harvest, or automate access in a manner that burdens our infrastructure;
- Impersonate another person or misstate your affiliation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
- Use content to compete unfairly or reproduce materials without permission.
We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens Site integrity.
6. Forms and Electronic Communications
Contact, quote, subscribe, and unsubscribe forms on the Site are client-side demonstrations unless otherwise connected to a live backend. When integrated with production systems, submissions constitute electronic records. You consent to receive responses by email regarding inquiries you initiate. Marketing emails require separate consent where required by law; see our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The Cycle Journals name, logo, Site design, text, graphics, and compilation are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Third-party trademarks and Insurer logos remain property of their respective owners.
8. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Site may link to Insurer portals, social networks, or educational resources. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9. Testimonials and Case Summaries
Testimonials and project descriptions reflect individual experiences and results that may not be typical. They are not promises of future claim outcomes, savings, or service levels. Identifying details may be altered to protect privacy.
10. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Insurance products involve exclusions, conditions, and limitations described in official policy forms. In the event of a conflict between Site content and a bound policy, the policy controls.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CYCLE JOURNALS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES RELATING TO THE SITE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR ADVISORY FEES IN THAT PERIOD, IF ANY, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cycle Journals from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us through the Site contact form to attempt informal resolution. If a dispute remains, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except that either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual property misuse. Class actions and class arbitrations are waived to the extent permitted by law. The arbitrator shall apply substantive law consistent with these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Cycle Journals maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer protection rules require otherwise.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site when practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any written advisory agreement you sign, constitute the entire agreement regarding Site use unless superseded by a specific Insurer policy contract.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be submitted through our Contact Us form. We respond to legal and compliance inquiries through email correspondence initiated via the Site.
